People: management

Prof. Robert Holyst, Coordinator, has an extensive experience in leadership & management, i.e. he leads the Soft Condensed Matter Group and is a member of several funding committees, incl. ERC panel. He was IPC Director & coordinator of projects: NOBLESSE ("Nano-technology, Biomaterials & alternative Energy Sources for ERA integration") (FP7, 3.8 M€), CREATE (“The CREAtion of the Department of Physical Chemistry of Biological SysTEms”) (ERA Chair, H2020, ~2.5 M€), NaMeS (“Interdisciplinary NAnoscience School: from phenomenology to applicationS”) (H2020, MSCA-Cofund-DP, ~2.3 M€). Robert is a very experienced mentor (51 PhD students & 30 postdocs) and advisor (holder of a function of an Advisor for career development at IPC).

Agnieszka Tadrzak, Project Manager, has an extensive experience in grant management & research results commercialization. She has been the Project Manager of two projects co-/financed from H2020 - CREATE (ERA Chairs) and NaMeS (MSCA-COFUND-DP). Since 2004 she has been managing projects financed from the public funds, initially working at the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. She also participated in evaluation of investment & training projects. Later, working in advisory company – Accreo (currently: CRIDO) Agnieszka advised to many companies on obtaining public & private funds. Among her clients were: General Electric, Bridgestone, Lafarge. Total raised funds >100 M€. At IPC she is also responsible for commercialization initiatives and implementation of regulations underlying "HR Excellence in Research" Award.

Agata Perczyńska, PD2PI HR Manager, has extensive and longstanding experience in HR management in both – business & academia. She has been providing HR service and administrative support for many projects, incl. CREATE (H2020, ERA Chairs) and NaMeS (H2020, MSCA-Cofund-DP) & other projects from national funds. Among others, she is responsible for organization of trainings for employees, recruitment & streamlining the process of IPC internal communication.
