Dr. Dariusz Piekarski accepted the invitation to present the talk entitled: "Molecular growth induced by ions and electrons: from linear 1,3-butadiene clusters towards 6-member ring compounds" at the 4th General Meeting of COST Action MDGAS that took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia. He discussed the recent, non-published results regarding the extraterrestrial growth processes induced by radiation damage, which can shed light on the catalytic processes developed in laboratories on Earth. During the conference, a potential new collaboration with Pierro Ferrari (FELIX facility) and Paola Bolognesi and Lorenzo Avaldi was established.
