Dariusz Piekarski attended the 28th International Symposium on Ion-Atom Collisions (ISIAC 2023) in Rolla, Missouri, USA. He accepted the invitation to present the invited talk entitled: “Diels-Alder like mechanism for molecular growth induced by ions and electrons: from linear 1,3-butadiene clusters towards 6-member rings compounds”. Dariusz discussed the recent, non-published results regarding the extraterrestrial growth processes induced by radiation damage, which can shed a light on the catalytic processes developed in the laboratories on Earth.
