PD2PI fellows are invited to join an in-person seminar on: Enabling Open Science with MATLAB: from open data to reproducible workflows, by Shubo Chakrabarti, MathWorks
The workshop will focus on some examples of how MATLAB users contribute to and leverage Open Science in the following 4 aspects:
- Enabling access to open data – with examples ranging from data on the AWS Open Registry to several open data repositories used by researchers across disciplines.
- Enabling open infrastructure – with the new MATLAB kernel for Jupyter and MATLAB Parallel Programming tools on several national infrastructures.
- Enabling reproducible workflows – with accessible MATLAB workflows on reproducibility portals and runnable MATLAB code on GitHub.
- Enabling the community – with support for tool-builders and open-source community projects
The event will take place on 19th of June 2023,10.00-12.00 (Monday) at the Conference Room in Administrative Building of IChF.
