QBIC-VI: Quantum Bio·Inorganic Chemistry Conference
Dr. Michał Kochman and dr. Dariusz Piekarski attended the sixth Quantum Bio·Inorganic Chemistry Conference in Warsaw, Poland, on August 29 - September 1, 2023. The conference focused on computational inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry, encompassing theoretical methods, innovative applications, and integrated computational/experimental approaches.
During the conference, Michał presented his work in a poster titled “Simulating the photophysics of DMABN: what have we learned, and where do we go from here?” while Dariusz showcased his findings in a poster titled “Theoretical insights into tuning the enantioselectivity for anion-binding organocatalysis”. Both also contributed to the organizing committee's activities.
The conference was organised by the Institute of Physical Chemistry Polish Academy of Sciences (IChF), Candela Foundation and the Laboratory of Chemistry and Biology of Metals (LCBM), French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).
