Seminar talk at the Nicolaus Copernicus University
During the meeting organized by dr Dariusz Kędziera from Nicolaus Copernicus University, Dariusz Piekarski gave an invited seminar talk on the theoretical catalysis entitled: “Mechanistic insights into anion binding enantioselective organocatalysis: a computational approach”. The event brought many researchers, among them- prof. Piotr Żuchowski - the worldwide leader in the field of the symmetry-adapted perturbation theory (SAPT). Researchers discussed many aspects, focusing on the contribution of the binding energies of catalytic systems into electrostatic, exchange, induction and dispersion terms, as well as the laser induced reactivities.
