Study visit to Prof. Gonzalez Research Group at the University of Vienna

Michał Kochman, visited Prof. Dr Leticia González (his co-mentor in PD2PI project) and her research group at the University of Vienna. The purpose of the trip was to discuss recent progress in Michał’s research work under PD2PI and, specifically, the perspectives on the application of machine learning algorithms in the analysis of the simulated spectra. During the visit, Michał Kochman also gave a presentation on his hybrid algorithm, which is designed for the simulation of transient absorption spectra. The feedback received from the attendees provided valuable insights into the strengths of the algorithm and areas for improvement.
