Study visit to Theoretical Modeling Group, Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Wrocław

On the 9-10 September 2022, Michał Kochman met with his long-time collaborator, dr hab. Andrzej Bil from the Theoretical Modeling Group, Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Wrocław. The researchers discussed prospects of the theoretical analysis of charge distribution and bonding in excited electronic states and, in particular, in twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) states of donor-acceptor compounds. The discussion was very productive, and Michał Kochman decided to try out a specific analytical method: the noncovalent interaction index (NCI).
