(virtual) International Symposium or Correlation, Polarization and Ionization in Atomic and Molecular Collisions 2021

(virtual) International Symposium or Correlation, Polarization and Ionization in Atomic and Molecular Collisions 2021
05 08

Dariusz Piekarski took part in the (virtual) International Symposium or Correlation, Polarization and Ionization in Atomic and Molecular Collisions 2021, that was held under the 32nd International Conference on Photonic, Electronic and Atomic Collisions (ICPEAC).

The meeting  focused on new interesting trends in atomic and molecular physics. The topics of the conference were quite wide and included the subject of multi-molecule interactions taking into account electron correlations, as well as the effects of single and multi-electron ionizations. The effects of polarization and the arrangement of particles in space on their excitation and charge transfer processes have been widely discussed. Molecular dynamics in the gas phase induced by interactions between molecules / clusters and photons, electrons or heavy ions, taking into account correlation and coherence were also  frequently presented.

Dariusz Piekarski presented the invited poster entitled “Polypeptide Formation in Clusters of Beta-Alanine Amino Acids by Single Ion Impact”.
